問：點解計GDP要加increase in inventory 減decrease in inventory?

GDP只包括Current Production of goods and services (本年度生產)。

Increase in inventory (存貨增加) 需要加，是因為本年生產，卻賣不出的inventory，仍然是Current Production of goods(本年度生產)，要計算在GDP中。

Decrease in inventory (存貨減少) 需要減，是因為過去生產，今年終於賣出了，不是Current Production of goods (本年度生產)，不能計算在GDP中。
