問：點分Public Good & Private Good?

Public Good is a good that can be concurrently consumed by many individuals without reducing its quantity as well as the quality for others.
共用品 是可以被多人同時共享而不會減少該物品他人使用的數量及質素。

Private Good 私用品 不能被多人同時共享。

舉個實例，電影本身是Public Good共用品，可以被多人同時觀看，不會因為多一個人看了而「睇蝕」了，多一人看了亦不會減少其他人可觀看的電影數量。但電影院內的座位是Private Good私用品，因為一人坐了，另外一人不能同時使用(坐大脾、內地同胞二人或多人坐單人座位 例外XD)。
所以同學細心留意，都應該知道電影票其實是買座位的佔用權。電影本身是Public Good共用品，不能直接向消費者收費，而是要用場地(戲院)限制其使用，並以作為Private Good私用品的座位收費。

故此，唯一的準則是在於「concurrently consumed by many individuals能否被多人同時共享」。MC的題目亦要出現類似字眼，才可真正解釋兩者分別。

A. a public good if citizens can enjoy the broadcast of matches in public areas like restaurants and Karaoke lounges.
B. a private good if a local television broadcasting company has purchased the exclusive right to broadcast in Hong Kong.

以上MC的選項A正正犯了解釋上的毛病，球賽直播是Public Good共用品，卻並非因為「在public areas 共眾地方播放」，而是「可以被多人同時共享」，故A錯。
而B亦是同一出題手法，Private Good 私用品不是因為「有獨家擁有或播放權」，而是「不能被多人同時共享」。

可見此類題目無非以字眼包裝混淆同學，同學大可不用理會，只需是一條準則(「concurrently consumed by many individuals能否被多人同時共享」)判斷便可。
